Bid Manager – IT Service/Outsourcing

My Client, an international service company providing a large portfolio of outsourcing services is looking to grow their operation in mainland Europe by recruiting a bid manager.

You will support a team of European based business development professionals as they engage with their target organisations in central government, European government and European wide public sector accounts.

As Bid Manager you will be responsible for the management of proposals making sure they comply with European journal regulations as well as meeting with the customer’s technical, financial, legal and contractual requirements. Your core responsibilities will be:

• Management of bids including management of sub contractor proposal preparation process 
• Coordination and management of all response material covering sales, technical, financial, legal and contractual. 
• Analysis of the Customer Request for Quotation and associated applicable documents and subsequent generation of Requests for Quotation.

The successful candidate will need to have worked in the IT Services marketplace and have a broad outsourcing/technical background. In addition you will have had commercial exposure to large outsourcing proposals requiring complex bid responses.

Fluency in English and a good knowledge of French is required; the knowledge of another European language is an asset.

Naturally you will have good project, time and matrix management skills understanding the need to deliver quality proposals to a strict timeline. You will need to be able to work independently and are able to set your own priorities.

This exciting role is based in Brussels and you will need to be located there or be flexible in your approach to travel.
